One more ComfortCurve Question

Post by 53now » Tue May 31, 2005 9:24 pm

I'm wondering about that "single strap" that goes on the back of your head ???? Does it slide up or move around any ? My "track record" is not good with regards to single strapped headgear (referring to the back strap only)
Does anyone understand what the heck I'm trying to say !! My words aren't coming out well tonight

I would love to try the ComfortCurve BUT....I am somewhat hesitant

Thanks
Rich

PS Wednesday I will be "54now" But guess I'll stick with 53now to avoid confusion

The strap doesn't really go to the back of the head but more to the top of your head. They call it a a halo strap as the single straps connect to a circular strap at the top. I found that the halo did slip but it seemed to work for others. The biggest issue I had was with the cheek pads, they are very thick. My final fix was to revove the pad and curve system altogether and used my Swift headgear. Good luck and happy birthday..

I find the strap works well, but I think that it is a matter of how much (or little hair you have)

The strap on the CC only works for me now if I ponytail my hair. It's shoulder length and growing - was more stable when it was shorter. The ponytail works great to keep the strap from slipping, though - I just make it a very loose one so I don't get a ponytail headache or feel like I'm sleeping on a knot of hair.
