New PurSleep Trial for "Mask Off" Issues

Post by SleepGuy » Sat Apr 05, 2008 9:45 am

For those who don't know me, I'm the person behind the pur-sleep products. I've had a lot of great help from people on the forum over the last year in helping to develop and improve the products.

Last month I ran a limited trial for people who were taking off their masks unconsciously in their sleep. Almost all of the people who participated reported either significant improvement or a resolution of their mask off issues (though I have yet to hear back from a few...).

I now have inventory for a new Basic Starter Pack (II) that includes three different aromatics than the last trial. I will provide up to 10 people experiencing "mask off" problems with a free Basic Starter Pack II (including domestic shipping). More information about the products can be found on the website.

The only thing I ask for in return is for feedback, good, bad, or otherwise, preferably on the forum but private feedback is fine.

If you would like to participate, please send me an email (no PMs please) to support@pursleep.com along with a note about why you feel like you quality as well as a mailing address. Personal information is used only for purposes of the trial. If you would like to try the original starter pack, please let me know as well. I reserve the right to decline trial applicants.

I thought I did post on my positive results with the use of your Pur-Sleep system, but in case it got lost in another thread, I am happy to give you a THUMBS UP for my results. It works just great.

Thanks so much!!!!!

Post by matt985 » Sat Apr 05, 2008 3:49 pm

I tried the Pursleep on the last trial and it was a little bit more tolerable to wear the mask and it made the room smell good too. I think it is a good product and would recomend it. Ill be ordering some more. Thanks for the opportunity to try it. Bob

NO MASK taking off anymore during the night --YAY !!! My husband has allergies right now and the clear is helping him as well as me--we are happy as clams!!!

I don't have the problem of removing my mask...but I like the concept. It is really appealling to me. I am interested in your products. I will be emailing you for a brochure. Do you ship to Canada?

Sure do--and have yet to lose a package in the mail. It usually takes 10 business days to arrive in Canada.

The trial is still open for anyone who might be interested in fit the criteria. Please indicate which starter pack you'd like.

The Basic Starter Pack has Clear (peppermint+lime), Peace (lavender+marjoram) and Spice (orange+clove)

The Basic Starter Pack II has synthetic fragrances of strawberry and vanilla (they're both very good and have received lots of praise during product development work) and an essential oil blend called Calm (eucalyptus+lavender+rosemary). It's rather like Vicks but much more mellow (no camphor).

Sorry, I also thought I responded. I had problems with congestion and could not use for more than one night. Tried on different occasions, used each of the three samples, same results. Nasal passage would block and I would start breathing thru my mouth. It is a Quality product with pleasureable scents, just could not use.

Clear also made me conjested. The other scents were great. I guess everyone is different and I would be willing to trial the newer scents plus order my favorite ones.

I was lucky enough to receive such a trial many months ago, but then 'dissapeared' from here because life became much too busy for various reasons.

It may be late in coming, but I'd still like to offer my assessment.

While I did not enjoy all of the oils I have tried, I found that the scented oils I did like greatly enchanced my sleep. I stopped waking up in the middle of the morning/night to rip my mask off, and generally had a more comfortable experience.

Sometimes it wasn't easy to get an accurate "drop" measurement of oil out onto the cloth, but that seemed to be more of my problem than the bottle. My wife seemed to be able to do it perfectly.

Fresh is the best scent in my opinion. For those who are having congestion problems, try moving the diffuser to the left of the vent (or about 5 inches in any direction). You will still get some aroma, but without the congestion.....good luck!

Dispensing is a common issue and the next product guide will have better instructions, along the lines of placing a pad on top of the open bottle and giving it a little shake or inverting it quickly. That should dispense a small amount. Try it and add more in a different spot if necessary.

And that suggestion thanks to a customer!
