Too Comfortable

Post by bap40 » Fri Mar 21, 2008 8:53 am

Now that I have become more comfortable with using the machine. I am finding myself moving more during sleep and having the mask (comfort gel) becoming dislodged at different times and waking up enough to put it back in place. Is the a common thing? When I first started, I was laying pretty still and ridged and numbers were better. Now that I am moving more, numbers are getting somewhat higher.

I have found just the reverse. As I have become more comfortable with the machine I spend more time in deeper sleep and therfore don't move as much. Some times I sleep all night in one position (I guess) because when I wake up all the joints I lay on hurt.

I agree with 6ptstar, its the reverse for me. I used to spin around like Linda Blair in the Exorcist but now i barely move, its great! I also can be a bit stiff but I have a water bed which to me makes a huge difference in joint pain as i also have severe arthritis.

I did have to get a different pillow, and bought a memory foam neck pillow and that also stopped movement. You may just need to find the combination that works for you. Good luck and happy sleep
