Power Alarm

Post by imacpappro » Wed Nov 10, 2004 11:05 pm

Does anyone now of or use a device that alarms or wakes you up if your power get cut off or goes out during the night. I know some machines have an alarm. I'm curious if anyone has used or uses an external product that could perform this function.

Power Alarm

I made a power alarm using a Emergency Light and a Wheelock ah12/24 fire alarm horn (you wire the horn to the wires going to the lights) It works great.

I have a rechargable flashlight that plugs directly into an outlet and charges while the powers on and lights up if the power goes out. If the light would wake you it's a cheap fix for about $3 at the hardware store.
