Re: Thank Ya'll For Help Through The Forum

Once again, our hosts came through big-time. I received my IntelliPap Auto today!! WOOHOO! It was a piece of cake to set up. I read the user's manual through once, put the humidifier on, filled the tank, plugged it in and it ran. Of course, it was not set to where I wanted it, so I called up cpap do...

Thank Ya'll For Help Through The Forum

Hi, ya'll. I haven't posted in over a year or so, but the forum came through when I really REALLY needed it to. I'm travelling on work assignment and when I got to my hotel today, I plugged my 3 yr old Sandman Auto in and it was dead! Yikes!!! I did some checking over at our host's site, CPAP.com an...

Re: Howdy, LTNS, Disturbing Conversation Tonight

Thanks for the warm welcome back.

So far, no contact other than the initial one. I figure to give them a few days, then call back and see what's up. Like the old saying though, you can lead a horse to water, but ya can't change their spots in midstream.....or something like that.

Howdy, LTNS, Disturbing Conversation Tonight

Hey, ya'll! How ya'll are?? Yeah, da ol' Kajun is back sayin' hi and checkin' in. Things are still going well for both Sweetie and me with our little PB Sandman machines and FFMs. But, being the el cheapo I am, I called in on an ad in our local SE NM paper tonight for a CPAP for sale at $200. What a...

Five Years Down, Rest Of My Life To Go

Yep, 5 years under the hose are now behind me! WOOHOO! I'd be turning cartwheels if I could. Way back when, I couldn't come close to imagining the difference a CPAP/APAP could make, but now I can't imagine being without it. OK, so I really can imagine being without it...and it ain't purty! LOL I've ...

Re: First time doing the titration study

I had been so exhausted for many years before my titration (actually, I had a split study where they did it all in 1 night) that I fell right asleep, as usual. Then, after the tech put the mask on, I slept better than I had slept in years! When I woke up, my first thought was "Wow! This thing works!...

Re: I have the Ultra Mirage full face Mask. How can I stop leak

I've used the UMFF for about 5 years now very successfully. But it was a bit of a trial at first. A few suggestions: 1) wash your face with soap and water and dry it well just before going to bed. 2) wash your mask, especially the seal, and dry it before going to bed. 3) do your first mask adjustmen...

[/quote] Maybe some folks LIKE the mask during amorous acts. Sleeping Less, Feeling More Rested

OK, after almost 5 years of being a hosehead on a PB 420E, I kinda figured I had a handle on things. CPAP literally gave me back my life. Pre-CPAP, I was exhausted ALL the time, no matter what. Post-CPAP, I was getting to bed about 8:30 PM, reading till 9, then sleeping till 5AM. I would wake up fee...

Sandman Auto Arrived Yesterday

Woohoo! I finally got around to replacing my 3 yr old PB 420E with a brand-spanking new Covidian Sandman Auto! WooHoo (oh, I already said that! LOL) What an impressive little machine. Smaller footprint by about 1/3 than my 420E, total redesign, and best of all, my humidifier doesn't run out of water...
