I don't use my passover humidifier at all. I don't find any difference, so I quit using it.
I posted this on another thread 2 days ago.

Yes, I do live in south Louisiana where the humidity is very high, but have central air conditioner in house. Perhaps my throat tissues are kept hydrated with the humidity when outdoors? I used a humidifier for the first year, but when I traveled, I didn't bring the humidifier, and noticed no ill ef...

Nope, I don't have those problems, or any sinus problems. Anyone out there don't use their humidifier? I have a passover one, and I have stopped using it for about a year. I asked a resp. therapist at an AWAKE meeting I went to(only one in 2 years), and she said that some people can do without it. I...

I was told to sleep on my back also at the sleep lab. I never ever sleep on my back, I'm a stomach sleeper.Didn't think I could fall asleep that way, but I did. But, even though I had been sleeping on my stomach all of the time, I was still having all of the symptoms of sleepapnea. Being on my back ...

Hi, y'all 62, and diagnosed in 2004. I don't think I had OSA all of my life. Probably about 2-3 years before I was tested. I have never been energetic, but never had trouble staying awake as I had before I was tested. I am overweight. I think that is the key for me. I'm working on it, but, boy it's ...

We are not supposed to be hanging our hoses in the bathroom, that's a no no.

I don't worry about the droplets in the hose after cleaning, they go away after the next night's use.

Hi, folks Been on cpap for 3 years now, and at the beginning, I knew nothing of APAP, or that there were different masks availabe. No one told me. My doctor didn't know much about sleep apnea. The respiratory therapist did my sleep study, and titrated me the same night. Did it overnight at our local...

After 2 years plus a few months of using cpap, it is like putting on eyeglasses, I am so used to the routine.
Only have gone one night without it, for a hurricane, when power was lost.
I was apprehensive about not using it, and I don't think I slept very well that night.

Hi, all
I started out 2 years ago with a passover humidifier, and have stopped using it, with no problem at all. I do not have any sinus problems.
Maybe in the future I will need it, but now I seem to be doing fine without it.

Hi, y'all I use my ramp set at 4, I think it's for 20 minutes, I still use it every night. I could probably do without it and start at 11, but I'm used to using it, so I do. Been over 2 years now, and I still use the mask I started out with and I can sleep on my stomach, and either side, and my back ...
