Re: Mask Inserts for Condensation-Sponge foam?
Don't put anything inside a mask!!! It could move to cover the exhaust ports and cause you to breathe your exhaled breath. CO2 is not good in large quanities. Why don't you instead make or buy a fleece cover for your hose and stop any condensation before it becomes a problem. Also you might try turn...

Re: When ordering my machine...
I personally have never heard of anyone getting a used machine. You can check the blower hours when you pick it up. Naturally it will have a few hours on it due to mfg. check out, but this doesn't mean its used. You made a good choice in that machine. I wish you well in your therapy. jim

Re: Wife is having rain out issues but i'm not
Having had a ResMed machine and a Resp. "M" I can vouch that the 1 HH range on the "M"is equivolent to about a 3 or 4 on the ResMed. Have her turn the HH off and see what happens. I use fleece covers on all my hoses and I have never in two years had a rainout. (knocks on wood) jim

Comfort Full 2 mask repair
About a year ago I bought my first Comfort Full 2 FF mask. I couldn't get the lower strap connectors to slide thru the gap in the mask that holds the tension on the mask. My fix at that time was to take a small 10" metal file and widen the gap so the ball stems would slide in easily. In all this tim...

Re: need some help!!
Make sure you adjust the knob on the front all the way so the forehead piece isn't holding the mask away from sealing around your nose and eyes. You otherwise may have it too tight, Set it up according to the instructions that came with the mask and you will be fine. Regards and Good Luck with your ...

Re: FFM Quatro Leaking PLEASE HELP
You may have to tighten the lower straps just a tad. Or you might pick up a pkg. of MACKS ear plugs and mold one into a rope and attach it to your mask where the leak is. This is very effective way to plug up a leak. My quattro fits fine for a week or so then I have to make up something to get it to...

Re: ComfortGel FF Mask
I don't think boiling the gel is going to help this situation. If when he sleeps on his left side it is leaking because the mask is being pushed to the right. You may need to tighted the lower straps some and use a pillow that has a straight up and down end to help the mask to hang free. I use that ...

Re: Advice please; Am I doing everything right?
You may need to get a cover for your hose to stop the condensation, or turn the HH down a notch. What pressures is your auto set at? Please take a few moments and fill out your profile info so that we can easily see what you are using and perhaps give you better info with your problems. Good Luck an...

Re: Machine / Mask Recommendations
They do NOT make a comfortable face mask that does not leak air. Some are better than others, but they all will leak. So you might as well accept that and try for the best you can find that will work for you. All faces are not created equally. What works for me may not work for you at all. As far as...

Re: Just a quick question about altitude settings
I have used my Mseries up to 8000 ft and I didn't notice any difference in the pressure output. I think they are self compensating up to a point. You will notice the thinner air at altitude if you have a lung problem. Good luck on the move. jim

Quattro FF Mask
I have been using my Quattro straight out of the box for over six months. I didn't pay good money to have to wrap up the elbows. If it leaks there then maybe that is part of the overall flow thru. Probably why you are breathing too much co2. The engineers who figured this all out are a lot smarter t...
