Happy B-Day Jim!

Looks like you are going to outlast your ReamStar Tank

Thanks everyone, had a good day, got a free truck service from my local GMC dealer, not birthday related. Went out in the yard checked out some dirt, its confirmed, I am now older than my dirt.

Bad thing, after being a mechanic for over 45 years, having to rely on others to provide service on my ride. Getting old isnt your friend, so stay young at all costs. Jim

I recently got myself a 1970 Chevy 350 V-8 pickup.

I'm having to force myself to get younger in order to work on it.

In 1972 I got a 1960 F-100, I fixed it up for the next 25 years, never did get the ugly off it, Im about running, not good looking. It got me too the mines on time, never broke down so bad I couldnt get it home. It was nothing like this new GMC Crew Cab, its my first new vehicle in my lifetime, it makes up for a lifetime of driving my old cars. I junked out three 25 year old rides and got it, just got the health wore down had to have something that wouldnt need repairs. After being a Ford Man for 45 years, this truck is great, the bad thing Idont drive it much 2, 000 miles a year. I hope you enjoy your truck as much as I did working on my 1959, its a pieceof yourself after a while. Jim
