Finally....Success !!! Opus and SWIFT II

Post by kwa430 » Thu Dec 06, 2007 8:41 am

There have been some threads regarding OPUS vs SWIFT II pillows.

I was having difficulty with both, being a side sleeper. After almost giving up on them, I tried one last thing. I switched to using a firm pillow to sleep on. That was the trick!

Now that my head doesn't sink into the pillow, my mask isn't getting pushed out of place. The SWIFT mask worked great but the real difference was with the OPUS. Now I can use either, but the OPUS is my first choice. With the tube going up over my head, I can move about, sleep on my side or even my stomach and get little to no shifting of the mask.

I just did this and have had 2 great nights in a row.

kwa430, Hey, that's a great idea. I haven't ever thought of using a firm pillow! Thanks for the post I'll give it a try when I get to use my cpap again!
