U.S. Turkeys Unite!

In an amazing show of solidarity, the U.S. Gobbler's Association, and the United Federation of Turkeys International, released these pictures to the Associated NewsCorps.

In a news conference today, Tom T. Turkey of the U.S. Gobbler's Association and George G. Gobble of the United Federation of Turkeys International issued the following joint statement:

It is time that turkeys throughout the United States take a stand for their rights, and protest this barbaric practice of eating turkey on Thanksgiving.

It is extremely painful to see our brother and sister turkeys end up in the frying pan, and as you all know, the United Brotherhood of Hogs is overdue for a thinning of the herds.

So, we're encouraging U.S. Citizens everywhere to EAT HAM on this important holiday.

it seems sad and wrong for Turkeys to condone the sacrifice of another animal in order to save them selves... For shame Turkeys! If it's alright to eat Ham, then it's alright to eat Turkey!

Or better yet both.

Alright! I vote for both! A little of both is a good thing!

Not this chick! I'm going for BEEF! Either a good Prime Rib or a good Rib Eye. Have both sitting here trying to decide which will grace our table tomorrow.
