PulseOx 7500 Oximeter

Post by msheda » Tue Sep 25, 2007 12:38 pm

For those that have the PulseOx 7500 Oximeter how long can I expect the battery to last?

I see that it is a funky (1/2AA 3.6V) lithium battery (read it's funky, it costs more), and that there doesn't seem to be a rechargeable alternative to buying new ones each time (or if there is a rechargeable version, where can I get one? )

Radio Shack has it for around $16.00.....but, I don't think it can be re-charged. After replacing mine the first time, I'll get on the Internet and search for its equivalent that CAN be re-charged.

If you have a Batteries Plus store in your area this battery or its equivalent runs about $7-$8, online I found them for a package deal of 5 at about $6 each. I think I got about 12 nights on one battery. I don't use it that often anymore so I have no idea really except from memory when I first got it and was running an overnight every night.

5 at $6.00ea. sounds like a good deal, remember the url for it?

My 7500 is fedexing it's way to me now, and I wasn't sure if I needed to line up a battery a night, or 1 a week, etc..

Thanks!

I haven't got the slightest idea anymore. All I remember is that I found them via a google search.

So far, I've done (24) nightly studies with my 7500....and the battery indicator (on the little 7500 screen) does not show that I need to change the battery yet.
