I have carefully read Derek's review (great job) and the instructions with the software, but I am having trouble getting the software to see the card reader. I install the software without the reader being plugged in; however, the software just doesn't seem to be able to connect. I have installed both the driver disk and the Encore disk.\
Thanks

Do you have the USB card reader? If so, try another USB port. My computer could find it on one but not the other.

Cardreader must be plugged in BEFORE you start your computer - so after all is installed, shut down the computer, plug in the reader and restart the computer!!

You may need to go under the preferences menu in Encore and select the USB port. I had to do this when I installed the software and cardreader. It was set on serial port by default.
