Re: Perhaps the first CPAP mask patent

It'll take a while to surpass this: "Snopper - The Snoring Stopper" Man, my electricity bill would be through the roof and I'd look like Don King if I had to use this. http://www.google.com/patents?id=P_0dAAAAEBAJ&printsec=abstract&zoom=4#PPA1,M1 E-gads! If this would have become the fix, my wife w...

Re: Getting "over inflated"

Lastly, beware that message boards can be a "dial wingers" paradise. In general people love to help. And in general some helpful people simply don't know what it is they don't know ---strange as that entirely lacking type of self assessment sounds. Proceed with caution if the dial wingers decide to...

Dear Herbert,

You appear to be a very wise man.

What do I get if I cross a garage full of cars with a beauty salon?

I await the wisdom of your answer.

Jen, Congratulations! I miss my babies! They're all grown up now (the youngest daughter is 16, the oldest 22, the 21 year-old-daughter just got engaged, the 18 year-old just graduated). Oh well! In a few years, my wife and I will have the joy of grandbabies! I'm wishing you many. many, years of the ...

I Bounce . . . "Slightly Off Topic"

I thought I'd take this opportunity to let my friends at cpap.com commiserate with me. Wednesday and Thursday of this week, a group of us brought together about 250 people from across the State of Michigan to help with a Habitat for Humanity blitz in Benton Harbor, Michigan. I was in charge of a cre...

This group is known for being independent (some say rebellious) enough to take a personal interest in their own treatment. Fortunately, some of us have good doctors who also believe in the value of patient-centered treatment. And others . . . Well, let's just say, nobody but you will suffer if you'r...

So . . .

D.Gal . . .

I guess that means that in addition to being "hosed," many of us have also had the experience of being "cuffed."

At least one's less painful than the other.

Owwww! Both my wife and I have experienced the pain of torn rotator cuffs. Hers happened sking down a hill. Sexy, vivacious, cool! Living on the edge. Mine happened falling down the stairs. Not sexy, stupid, looked idiotic! Falling off the edge. I didn't have insurance at that time, so lived with pa...

Re: Can you imagine all those CPAP machines in one place!

Can you imagine all those CPAPs in one location all being used on a Cruise ship or a hotel! Housekeeping staff wouldn't know what hit them...although I am sure most have seen them by now! Now it could get really confusing if there was an international snorkling convention going on at the same time....

Welcome, It's really not as bad as you think. Once you get adjusted to the idea, and start feeling your energy level increase, you actually find the machine kind of comforting. The important thing is to find a mask that fits you well, have a machine that can provide you the information you need, and...

Rooster, Tie a key to a kite, hold it in your right hand, fly it in a lighting storm. Hold your phone under your chin. Hold a large metal pole in your left hand. Soon your phone will be fully charged and you'll be picking up signals from heaven. However, any clients still may have trouble reaching y...
