Question about ordering from cpap.com

Post by hosehead5150 » Tue Sep 11, 2007 11:41 am

Hello,

I recently placed an order for the resscan3.2 software and card reader, recently being Friday, I noticed my order is still processing. Does it take 3 days to normally process an order?

I just started out on the cpap path, And thanks to this wonderful website, I have learned alot more than my doctors have told me about this new life long mistress of mine.

So far I have convinced the respitory folks to give me a resmed s8 c=vantage machine after having the resmed s8 for a month. After reading about the differences here, I thought it was in my best interest to get the vantage.

I also was given the ultra mirage quattro full facemask to use. When I went in to my titration study, the sleep doctor recomended a mirage quattro full facemask, What is the difference between the two? The respitory people gave me a large size mask for the mirage quattro and a medium for the ultra mirage, THe large one leaks no matter how tight or loos the straps are, So i went back to the medium one that doesn't leak.

They also said in my titration study that my setting was 12, when I got the vantage the prescription was 15.... I have noticed in the results everymorning that I am not on 12 but range between 14 and 15. I don't know who is right.

So after 2 months of cpap/apap. I still haven't experienced the nirvana of a good nights sleep. I do feel a little better but I am wondering if i'll ever wake up and not want to go back to bed lol

I think the simplest way to find out is just to give them a call and ask - what is the status of my order.

Did you fax them your prescription? Could be waiting for you to do that. They are SCAREY efficient at cpap.com. I was amazed how fast they filled MY order.

Definitely call them. They're sweethearts and will tell you definitely what the hold up is.

Cheers,
B.

it says on the item listing:
Part Number 31301: Out of Stock. This is expected to ship on 09-17-2007.
someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...
