rustynail-why did you pick that long in name?
I have been so curious ever since I saw your log name. It makes me think of a movie called Joyride. Ever heard of it? It's a movie where the truck drivers CB radio name is Rustynail. Just curious!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's off to sleep I go......
I'm curious about Rustynail also.
(OK, I'm nosy, alright? I admit it!)
I'm curious about this person who did wonderful things for my ego, the person on vacation in "the states," the one who likes Wichita, rural places and hills and mountains, the person who barks and howls at Liam appreciatively.
Hope Rustynail decides to become a registered member (instead of being logged in as a Guest). Why? So we can then send Rustynail PMs (private messages) and gossip about Liam....!

Not to mention if he's going to be a regular poster, how is he EVER going to make it to the exclusive 1000 posters club if nothing he's posting right now counts towards his total?
I suspect he picked his name after the drink of the same name, consisting of equal parts of Drambuie and Rye or Scotch Whiskey.
Liam, who doesn't drink much anymore, or he might have been "Fuzzy Navel" or "Sex on the Beach", or perhaps "Sloe Comfortable Screw".
(Yes, all real drink names).

Gee! I'm quite surprised and thankful for the interest
Sorry Auntie, I don't know the movie Joyride. Liam was partially correct. I picked my name for the drink that I occasionally enjoy (light on the Drambuie, with Cutty Sark if you please, and on the rocks). Linda, I'd enjoy gossiping with you about Liam
It is very important for me to clear the confusion regarding my gender - I am a female and, although I absolutely adore the males of our species (despite the bad luck I've had with them), would prefer to stay that way (if there are any doubts you could read the posting from Mar 26th "Women's-only topic ....." to which I responded).
I am, or at least was until my son changed my priorities, a computer and game consol freak but due to several reasons (ok, financial mostly) I am not 'on-line' I shall change that when I get home (give me a few weeks) and return here OFFICIALLY REGISTERED because I think I need the lot of you .
Rustynail, who likes the idea of skipping the scotch for a Sloe on the Beach! [/u]

Ah. I had a friend in college whose nickname was "Rusty" and he was a guy, so that's where my faulty assumption came from.
Liam, who's actually a castrato. (Um, no, not really).

All this talk about names reminds me of the names that seem to say something such as:
Dickinson (Dick-in-son) was once told it came from olden days meaning he was a son of Dick`s.
Morehouse ( more house)
Bet most of you can think of other names that are mearly more than one regular word added together. Maybe should have posted this under a game section if we had one.
Auntie Becca, I agree with you, I also need sleep. Good Luck. The machine did change my sleep of 2 hours last year to 4 to 5 this year-- so getting better, but still getting up tired.

Hello Dot!
I agree, many names have interesting histories. For one reason or another many of the spellings have been changed over the years making it somewhat difficult to distinguish their original origins and meanings. Two of the log-on names got a real chuckle out of me...
Greetings to "Hugh Jass" (cute, real cute!)
and perhaps I'm mistaken (due to my slightly twisted mind):
Hola Senor "Kjones"

Hi Rustynail,
Ya'll might note that I did not assume anything.
I'll admit I was trying to guess your gender, but I did not assume one or the other or any permutation thereof.
But I always like a mystery.
Take Liam, for example.....please!
Hope you keep in touch.
Linda
FYI- I had a female friend who went by the nickname Rusty. So I've learned not to assume ....... guess, maybe, but not assume, because you know what they say about assuming........!!
