A CPAP mask is a component of a CPAP system. The mask fits over the patient’s airway and it the mechanism for delivering air from the CPAP to the patient. There are many types of CPAP Masks. A nasal mask is a cup like mask that is worn over the nose only. A full-face mask is a mask that covers both nose and mouth. This type of mask is used for people who mouth breathe.
