REMstarPRO M series

Post by slrpro02 » Mon Aug 13, 2007 7:20 pm

Hi all
Went to veterans hospital today to get my machine. They gave me REMstarPRO M series With heated humidifier. I was very surprised that it came with the humidifier, because I had called & talked with someone at the sleep clinic & they told me I would not be getting a humidifier.
They gave me a ComfortFull 2 mask.
Tonight will be my first try other than at the sleep clinic.
THANKS

Well I was waiting for a reply. Did not see any so I went an heated up a slab of ribs that I smoked up yesterday (8hrs) & ate the whole slab. If someone don't reply soon I will have to heat up another slab. Don't worry though I only smoked 6 slabs (3bbr 3reg.)
Thanks

LOL!! Well, if you have any leftovers.....

Glad to hear you got a heated humidifier after all. Hope you get lots of restful sleep with your new equipment.

Do I need to send you a doggy bag to pack and send back to me?

My dog name is shilo & when it comes to ribs she is always very close by me. She would be very upset if I gave someone a doggy-bag. Nice try though.

Did your VA say anything about followup? I got my Pro 2 tank from them last December (with humidifier and Swift mask), and I guess I expected them to check on my progress, compliance, etc. They didn't. Luckily I found this wonderful group! I finally called them and they said they never followed up unless I called them with "problems". That's when I bought the software and started fine-tuning my settings myself.

Before I left they set me up with a appointment (6wks), & told me to bring the whole machine back at that time. I don't know why, couldn't they just have me bring in the card??

That's more than I got. But I agree. The card should tell them everything they need to know. Maybe they just want to see how you're setting it up, check for leaks, make sure you're cleaning it, etc.

Because they don't have the software, and or don't know how to use it. Not that I'm badmouthing them at all. They do a good job with the system they have to work with.

Lincare couldn't even read mine. There are just some things it's better to do yourself. Jim
