Skipped a night on the boat

Post by SailorBoy » Mon Apr 11, 2005 7:57 am

and boy did that suck

Slept on the boat saturday night. Went to plug in the CPAP and discovered that the inverter was still on the fritz (I had not realized it had blown up in an unrelated error last summer)

So, slept without.

Felt like I slept all okay, but was groggy etc. Oh yeah, that's what it was like two weeks ago before I started.

Of course, once I got home I remembered that one reason I picked the 420E was that it takes 12V directly!

D'oh!

Okay, anyway, will not skip again.

Will get 12V hookup set up for boat.

Stay tuned, July 3 2006 we are sailing to Hawaii for our fourth attempt at the Pacific Cup http://www.pacificcup.org
I think it makes me look like a dashing scuba diver, don't you?

Geez, I haven't even taken the shrink-wrap off my boat (Pearson 422) yet, that's next weekend I guess you're not in New England!

I think the PB machines are a good choice for boating because they apparently draw way less current than the Respironics.
