OT
Good to see you posting. Thanks Laura, Haven't been posting, as I'm busy working full time and got a bit over tired. I'm sleeping enough, I thought. Have a week off, as I started to fall asleep at the wheel on the way to work. Numbers are fine, but just need more sleep than I thought, I guess. Lear...

Re: Rest in Peace
Cristen and Ali, Please accept my sincere condolences. And thank you for taking the trouble to post the sad news of your father's passing on the board here. Your father was a great help to me especially in the early days of my therapy when I had so many questions to ask. Nothing was too much trouble...

dreaming about holding breath
Hi Thinking aloud here, but ideas welcome. Before therapy I was always dreaming I was swimming underwater, about to be swamped by water etc. Sometimes I still dream that I see a huge wave coming and hold my breath as it crashes over me, often waking gasping. That happened last night and was quite fr...

Good Luck, SplashMum! Have you checked the mechanical things, like making sure the hose isn't getting kinked when you 're asleep, or that the mask vents aren't getting covered up? Otherwise, I wonder whether you are getting enough pressure. I don't think one night of a sleep study gives a big enough...

You have been warned! I've just lost a week of beautiful weather sick, my sinuses and nasopharynx clogged with yellow glug. No bad loss of appetite, no real bad temperatures, so I can't call it flue (besides, I had the jab). I have a bad feeling it might have come from my dog's tongue, he has a thin...

welcome Southern Girl! Thank you for your interest in helping people with SDB. I look forward to your input. We have a few professionals here who post regularly. As you say, "finger wagging" doesn't go down well here, but where does it? Nowhere I know. You sound like someone genuinely interested, no...

The bush flowers are emerging, we have already had some little orchids. My very favourite flower is the delicate semishade loving twiner "hardenbergia". The photos don't do it justice, in shade it looks like blue fire http://florabase.calm.wa.gov.au/science/timage/g816ic1.jpg here is another link to...

Here in Oz it's midwinter, and a very wet and stormy time we've had of it in my part of this vast continent. The retaining walls in my back yard have finally admitted defeat, so there is a sea of mud, which is something I have never seen in this part of the world before. The pergola gave up the ghos...
