Leak rate went up but AHI went down?

I had a leak rate of .54 last night but my AHI was 2.4 my AI was 0.0 and my HI was 2.4 now my numbers went down considerably all I did was raise my pressure max. to 15. My average was 13.4 which was 1 cm higher than the night before. Is my leak rate high for these kind of numbers? Does this mean I n...

This frustrating data

How can I one night have excellent results and the very next night my numbers go up by double? I don't understand this I did everything the same, no nasal congestion or anything different from the night before. I did notice the difference in the way I felt, today I was very irritable and lacked focu...

Is there anywhere on this site I can go and get definitions of the technical terms and basic info to help me understand all this? Also If I had good results last night how long does it take to see improvements durning the day as far as not walking around like a zombie?

I have two questions how do you get better results, I mean I kinda was hoping the results were not in the range of being acceptable( sounds crazy) but why do I feel so tired in the morning. Also how do you tweak the pressure (as I here so many people here try to do) to get the ideal pressure number s...

I do have the resmed S8 autoset vantage and evidently it is data capable so the next step is to buy the software, card reader and smart card. It looks like it would be about $200 or so through cpap.com. I don't want to sound cheap because it is my health at stake but is there any way of buying it an...

Smart cards

I had a card to check for compliance and my doctor took my card one visit and never returned it(this was months ago) and now I am thinking it would be a good idea to periodically check my progress. Now how would I go about getting a new one and also the reader and software? Would it be covered by my...

14 too much?

I been at 13 for awhile with no problem but now I bumped it up to 14 and I wake up the morning after with a dry sore throat. I was prescribed a pressure of 14 but could not handle it so went down to 12, then I found that the mask I was using was causing the problem so I found a mask that works and b...
