I got a new mask, the FlexiFit 406, but like many others it has the forehead support and a hard shell that hurts the bridge of the nose. After the first night of wearing it, I used bandaids and tape to reduce the discomfort, but those things still irritated my skin a bit.
I know moleskin has been used, but I didn't have any and didn't feel like going to find it. I looked around for something to use and found a sheet of sticky backed felt bought to use when refurbishing some lamps. I cut 2 small squares for the forehead support and 2 small strips for the top of the hard shell and put them on the mask.
The felt stayed on all night, was very comfortable, and didn't interfere with the seal. I don't know how long it will adhere to the mask or how often it will have to be replaced, but it is so inexpensive (less than $1.00 at WalMart) and I will be able to cut so many pieces from the piece of felt that I don't think that matters.
Just thought I would share. I have found so many helpful tips here, and it never hurts to have one more.
Here is a link to what the felt looks like:

Neat idea! It's amazing wnat you can do with craft supplies! The forehead piece on the mask I wore during titration study did the same to me. The place even still hurts to touch and it's been a couple of days. I'll file this one into my bag of tricks for future reference!
