Machine to Sell....is it permitted?
Hello Cpap'rs Haven't posted for a long time. I was wondering what the current rules are regarding selling a cpap machine on this site. I know we used to be able to sell CPAP equipment and other supplies. Please let me know if I can sell a very Basic M Series Machine with Humidifier. I only used it ...

He was one of a kind for sure. You wanted to be very certain of your facts and have a lot of material to back them up if you questioned anything he posted The man came by his knowledge the hard way, and he used that knowledge to help an awful lot of people. I hope he is looking down with a smile on...

Re: I am reporting Resmed and Respironics to FDA Medwatch
Virgo, I just noticed your comment about your 3 military children. You should be very proud and thank them for their service. I'm Grammy to 3 precious granddaughters. BTW, I'm a Virgo too (8/29), when's your birthday? I hope no one minds if I hijacked this thread! Thank you! I am very proud of them...

I bet it could be done and done right. So, put your money where your mouth is , and come back when you've finished He is all mouth, no money. Doesn't even know how to check his AHI on the display. I could put your girlfriend/wife to work. Mikey Why would someone who is obviously unhappy with this f...

Just out of curiosity why is ResMed not able to be listed on CPAPAUCTION.com?

Re: My numbers are still to high! What to do?
Agree. Look at the leak rate. Look at your actual leak report see if it is all over the place. Not sure what you mask's normal vent flow is but I bet it is well under what you are seeing especially with a relatively low pressure. If the mask is always on your face when machine is on, then a huge le...

Why you like your Brand/Model APAP Machine
I have decided to ask my M.D. at my appointment on 2/23 if he will order me an APAP. I have been reading on CPAP.com about the various APAP with C-Flex or EPR and I would like to know which machine you use and your personal opinion of the machine as a user. Pros and Cons. Since I do travel (3 childr...

Re: 3 weeks into my committment to CPAP-still some issues.
I admire your decision to stick with your therapy and make it work! I have no experience with aerophagia or the masks you use, but I'd like to address the eye irritation concern. First, please talk to your doctor about this. I'm fortunate enough to have an eye doctor who knows about sleep apnea and...

Does the velcro cause rubbing or hair pulling??? Bald spot anything like that? I just don;t need to add another issue to the mix

atruvirgo, 4) Masks? No real suggestions except to say that I'd encourage you to try the Swift FX for Her. You said you were thinking about it. You might very well like it. You also said you'd been unsuccessful with the Swift LT a year ago. All I can say is I couldn't stand to have the LT on my fac...

3 weeks into my committment to CPAP-still some issues.
So I committed to using my cpap after realizing how poorly my health was being effected from not being compliant. I am really giving it a fair shake this time. 3 weeks is the longest I have ever used my cpap. Here are the areas that are still causing me issues. 1. MAJOR Aerophagia 2.Still getting re...

Any adults here ever try the MiniMe Nasal Mask?
Just wondering if any adults that have trouble finding a petite or small mask have every tried the MiniMe? It is supposed to be the same style as the IQ. Just tossing around ideas. Thinking about the Swift FX for Her as well. I had no luck with the Swift LT for her. The straps on the front did not f...

Re: Mask Fit Issue
I have tried all of the nasal pillows and had a terrible time with leaks on all of them. Also, I couldn't keep it from pressing on my nose (pig nose). I could try again but, I doubt anything has changed in the market. The latest one was the Swift LT for her. I had pretty much concluded that I was no...

Mask Fit Issue
I have had the same mask issue with every mask I have used. I use a small or petite nasal and the seal fits okay but the vertical size is always too long and slides over my eyes and sometimes my lip. I like the F & P 406 petite but it was too shallow and my nose bumped the rough edge inside. I have ...
