Re: Creeping AHI
You are correct. I have put on about 20 pounds. Didn't think that would do it, but.........I'll work on it. Thanks for being honest!

Creeping AHI
I have been on CPAP/BIPAP nearly 14 years. Recently I have discovered my AHI creeping up from around 1.4--1.8. It is now at 2.5. I haven't changed a thing. My BIPAP pressure is and has been for the last 2 years set at 18/14. I have put on a new cushion, new hose and facial hose. Just curious why it ...

Re: New to Full Face Masks
Thanks, that was very helpful. I go back to the sleep doc on Jan 4th and then to the DME for some new equipment. Knowing about that machine gives me a starting place, What a way to start the new year!

New to Full Face Masks
I have slept with nasal masks for many years. (Preferred being the mirage activa with size standard cushions) But after a recent mandated sleep study by Medicare (It has been 10 plus years since my last study!) I have no idea what happened. For the titration part of the test using my good old activa...

SO CLEAN2 CPAP CLEANER
I have not posted in awhile so I am not sure if this new cleaner has been discussed? It is almost $300 and it is billed to really clean the mask and machine, making them 90% germ free and sanitized. Does anyone have one? Does it do what it claims to do? Thanks.

AHI and Time of CPAP
Just curious to know what the average AHI is for people in the forum, and the length of time on CPAP. Is there a correlation or is all just a crap shoot?
I have been on CPAP for 7 years. My AHI goes from 0.9 up to 4.3. My average for the month is around 2.7

Re: S9 climate line
If you use the ClimateLine hose in Auto Mode, it maintains a Humidity of 80% regardless of the Temperature you set. In fact, in Auto Mode, you can only set the temperature. That feature is what keeps rainout from occurring. I recently got an S-9 machine and climate hose. I am trying to understand w...

Re: S9 Auto vs Manual
What is the difference if I have my machine set at auto, which I am told is 80 degrees for the tube and 3 for the humidifier vs setting it on manual at 80 degrees and 3? Does auto do anything else that a manual set up doesn't? Thanks. I know about CPAP vs APAP modes but not about the humidifier and...

ResMed S-9 And Auto Function
How does the machine act differently if I set the settings to Auto...which is 80 degrees for the hose and 3 for the humidifier...verses if I set it to manual and choose 80 degrees and 3? Just what is automatic about it? Had it on auto last night and woke up with water drops in my mask. Thanks.
