Re: But I don't want to change my machine!
Update #2 - I bought it a card reader. It's coming. Sigh... I really do have to completely take apart that bookcase and re-arrange everything. Did I mention it's as tall as the ceiling and about 4 feet wide? Sigh... Dust... I could die from this you know. Disturbing all that dust can't be good for m...

Re: options when ill?
I'm on two steroids - Flonase and Advair. I don't have problems with yeast in my mouth, though I rinse my mouth after I take the Advair.
I take them both morning and night. I do credit the daily Flonase/Claritin cocktail with clearing my nose enough that I can use my cpap.
Good luck!
Barbara

I can't agree more!
You don't know what JOY filled my heart when I came back here after an absence, looking for help, and Pugsy stepped right up and gave it to me.
THANK YOU PUGSY AND ROBYSUE!

Re: What SD card reader are you using?
My PC was custom built, and no, there is no SD card reader in it. It wasn't something I thought I needed, since I knew I could easily just plug a card reader into a USB drive if I needed to.

Re: 10 days: Want to nap, eat, plus puffy eyes
When I first started, I was MASS TIRED because of all the interruptions of my sleep, fiddling with the mask. I am claustrophobic, so I had alot of times I wanted to just rip the mask off. Plus, during that stage of my life, I was going to the bathroom a couple of times a night. Once I settled into i...

Re: OT for urinary problems - cranberry/hibiscus pills
I was JUST in the ladies room... Thinking "No way I'm gonna ask the cpappers for recommendations about that funny urine issue..."
I kid you not. I seriously just had this conversation with myself.
Okay, GOOD TO KNOW! And THANKS!

WHAT KATHY SAID!
Yup, yup, and yup! All of that has definitely been true for me.
And now I CANNOT sleep without my machine. Even when I screw up and forget it on a trip.
Hang in there kid. We'll help all we can.

Re: options when ill?
I still get colds, and have occasional stuffiness due to allergies. MOST NIGHTS I can manage to clear my nose by masking up, turning on the machine, and just HUFFING like a mother. It might take a little longer to get clear, and frequently I have to move the mask, wipe my nose and the mask, and huff...

Re: 10 days: Want to nap, eat, plus puffy eyes
Well, about the appetite. Try to eat as much as you can of things that are high bulk and filling, like vegetables, fruits, and salads. It could be this new thing in your life is causing your appetite to trigger, and if you feed it, it might calm down. Try NOT to stuff with fats, sugar, meat, and all...

Re: Nasal pillow leaking with apap peak pressure
You might want to look into the possibility of a nasal cannula, rather than pillows. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/innomed-nasal-aire-ii-all-size-kit.html I found pillows to be leaky and need alot of adjusting and fiddling with. The NAII is much less bother to me than pillows. I wear it over my h...
