Re: Need Help selecting new travel cpap and battery
It needs 15 V DC in, so you would need the appropriate converter.

Re: Need Help selecting new travel cpap and battery
The ones I was looking at are the Z2 Auto Travel and the Transcend Micro. Are there any others I should consider at this price point? Do these models have any issues with reliability and excess noise? I don't know anything about the transcend, but I have the Z2 auto. it's a nice machine, uses very ...

Re: Melatonin Dosage
Been taking 0.3mg (300mcg) melatonin dose at night before bed for years now. Seems to help me to get to sleep, and makes it easier for me to go back to sleep. I did a lot of reading about it on the internet before starting to use it, and most suggested starting with .3mg and going up from there if ...

Re: Melatonin Dosage
Microdosing melatonin works best for me. If I take 3mg+, I fall asleep fine, but wake up multiple times throughout the night wide awake. I've read that larger doses may inhibit your own production of melatonin. I'm not a doctor so don't quote me on that! I take 300mcg (micrograms), so 1/10th the us...

I've used several of the KFD adapters with S10 and S9, and they work great!

Re: SEVERE DRY EYES
2nd on Eyeseals 4.0. They are great, but a little fragile, so don't expect it to last more than a year. I always keep a backup as they tend to rip without warning.
The manta mask looks interesting.

Re: Is humidification necessary when the air is humid?
I'm going to be in Boston area soon, and am traveling with only the CPAP half of my S9 Resmed, so will test out no humidity. Have been trying it at home here in California, and it seems fine even in lower humidity. I squirt a little saline nasal spray in my nostrils.

Re: HDM Z1 CPAP with a Fault 21, anyone know anything about this?
Check with HDM/Breas. If I remember correctly, they may give a discount toward a Z2, which is not prone to this issue. Breas is offensively useless, offering nothing but a $100 off on an $800 Z2. I would never give them a cent, and strongly recommend no one else do so either, since they clearly mad...

Re: HDM Z1 CPAP with a Fault 21, anyone know anything about this?
Try switching out the clock battery I assume I have to dissemble the unit? I found the manual and it says that Fault 21 means: "Treatment Pressure not programmed, discontinue use and contact your health care provider or HDM. " And I found the other thread about taking it apart to replace the batter...

PM me your address if interested, and I'll send them to you. First come, first served, unless different people want the SM and the XS sizes.

HDM Z1 CPAP with a Fault 21, anyone know anything about this?
I've got an older Z1 CPAP that I've only used a handful of times. I was getting it ready, plugged it in, and it went through it's self-check and now has flashing Fault 21. I can't find any info on the internet about this. Is my machine toast? Anyone know anything about fixing this?
