Stop breathing while using cpap

This last week I have stopped breathing about 4 times in the course of 3 nights while on my cpap machine. Twice I woke myself with bad dreams of drowning and my wife woke me twice to tell me I was not breathing in and had stopped breathing. Anyone had experience in this matter?

What pressure range is your autopap set for? What was the prescribed single pressure from your sleep study?

sounds like central apnea but you cannot tell by yourself or partner, a obstructive apnea would appear the same unless the person is really good at seeing your respiratory effort (darn near impossible I say).

Do you have the reporting software for your machine?
What does the LCD display have for 7-day AHI?
for 90% pressure?
For leak?

How is the machine currently set up?
What is the Min/Max pressure range set so?
What was your pressure found in the PSG?
