after you have your fling with the RT (in my best Austin Powers voice) Yeahhhh baby!!! RT's need love too..... But anyway, No we don't charge insurances or things like that. Most of us work under the umbrella of a DME and they do the billing, but, things like read your card, interpretation, etc. ar...

Next week I'm going to drum corps camp (don't call it "band camp") But....."This one time...at drum corp camp, just doesn't have the same ring to it" LOL It's possible I may be the only other one on this forum who knows what a fffff pedal tone is. So you play the contrabass? Awesome. I suppose that...

When I got to the RT section, thay had a pair of boxers with the phrase "Suction This" across the front. Anyway,....OSA awareness.....I like that....maybe have a ribbon of a certain color...

Sharon, Or when someone refers to their O2 sats as "stats" LOL When I worked in a hospital, a patient (or family member) would sometimes ask how their "stats" are running. It took everything I had to resist the urge to say.... "Well, you've got 14 RBI's, 5 HR's and 2 bases on balls" My sense of humo...

Just so everyone knows, my comment about changing your own settings was a joke, hence the "But seriously" part. I'm a full supporter of doing that, as long as you know what you're doing (which most people on this forum do) I don't personally mind filling in the knowlegde gaps for my patients. It's w...

Wasn't directed at anyone in particular, Den. Just anyone who thinks OSA is not a big deal or who thinks CPAP is to "fix snoring" only. I get the occasional patient who comes in with their CPAP to turn it in. They say "This thing is supposed to help me sleep, but I can't sleep worth @%#$ since I got...

As I've said before.... You should NEVER EVER EVER change your own pressure settings!!! This should only be done by licensed medical professionals who took a LOT of classes and passed a LOT of tests. These people can always be recognized because they wear white coats. This also includes the receptio...

Is it Friday yet???? No???? Damn!! Anyway, ur right, most of them just want to get by with the minimal, and of course, the more questions you ask, the higher the chance you might uncover their ignorance on a lot of things. Of course, there's bad apples in any field, I just wish it weren't so in the ...
