They make deck screws now. Kind of pricey, but they won't rust or come loose. Pretty bulletproof. You can easily remove them if you ever need to...

Exactly, in my case, it's just not worth the risk. It almost killed me once, I'm not going to give it a second chance if I don't have to.

Wonderful! - how did she make it? Got a picture? My wife made me one. Still works better then any of the commercially ones available. It's simple and very effective. It's just a flat 2 inch strap made from cloth, no stretch. She measured from the crown of my head to just under my chin. It fits nice...
