Hello everyone.
I am new to CPAP, maybe 40 days now but I can see the difference already.
I plan on taking a few overnight camping trips with my CPAP and thought I could use a inverter with small battery from a ATV or something.
I am sure this has been discussed before, as what is the smallest and lightest battery to do the job, or even a battery pack from amazon.
I am not a rich guy but would like to put this together efficiently. A 70 watt inverter with with battery clips is roughly $15 on Amazon, so i need to find the proper draw on a battery to last the night, or as I asked above, a rechargeable battery pack.
Thanks for reading post, and I hope to hear something from the experienced CPAP'rs

Inverters add another level of inefficiency... you're wanting 12v to 24v conversion... no need to hit 120VAC in between.
Turn off any hose heat or humidifier functions to minimize battery drain, of course.
The Resmed solution is not cheap... the Amazon vendors have much cheaper options. You will still drain the battery, if you can carry a jump-pack or push-start the ATV you're OK... someone should carry jumper cables anyway, right?

I'd try this at home first before being stuck in the boonies without PAP! You might miss the heat/humidity... I was pissed when I went in for bi-level titration and they had an old biPap with neither... my nose could tell!
