Re: Newbie and confused.
you mention not being tech savvy. that's going to make it harder to give you any advice. there is software available that could help you if you'd like to go that route. Certainly give it a good go, not too bad, I managed to copy and paste plus make bold, so one step off the idiot ladder :D :D Many ...

Re: Seek advice for red dry nose cavity
Recently (last 3-4 days) she has developed skin redness/dryness and inflammation just at the opening of the nose cavity where the nasal pillow sits. She stopped using the CPAP last night when she felt pain in the inflamed area, this is when we realized that the cause maybe the CPAP. welcome to the ...

Re: Help required to reduce AHI and Aerophagia
Please let me know if these work OK as I've never used imgur before. I also have my machine and mask in my sig. Hopefully these are showing OK too! welcome to the zoo! yes, the images came through fine. and I would recommend you raise your minimum pressure from four (the factory default settings) t...

Re: Newbie and confused.
I do question a few things though. How is it possible to record any "events" in 55 minutes when you have not been asleep at all and then they state you had 10.9 events plus during that time when I was fiddling around with the mask, as air was escaping and again during that time stated 0 leaks? http...

Re: Events per hour has increased
I did as you suggested. Quite impressive, she has more experience and knowledge than most doctors and has helped more people find helpful information than many providers and doctors. I am sorry I posted that question, I should have done some research first. I handled it poorly! no I think you were ...

Re: Lower average pressure with AirSense 11 Autoset
Same thing for me, average pressure drop with no discernible change in results. I have a graph, but the board seems to be too full for attachments. please see this regarding the full attachments issue and how to post images here- https://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t183806/Attachment-storage-is-at-c...

Re: Struggling to find a better mask. Any suggestions?
i'm wondering if a mask liner wouldn't help? see here-
https://www.padacheek.com/
if one isn't available, ask kerren there if she could make one.

Re: CPAP and coughing up blood
I spit up bloody mucus every morning. no suggestions. just wanted to say i'm sorry you're going through this, but i'm happy you've posted. too many people come here and try to blame CPAP for the weirdest of developments. I'm glad you are seeking help, knowing it's not the machine. good luck and do ...

Re: BiPap - Severe bloating no matter what I do
Thank you for your response! It has been several months now with no changes and it actually seemed to have gotten worse. How long did it take to adjust for you. ResMed AirCurve BiPAP 10 VAuto - this is the machine I am on. This may have been incorrect in what I stated literally weeks. I would chang...

Re: BiPap - Severe bloating no matter what I do

I just want to mention that you may have accept the higher ahi until your body gets used to higher pressure. for me, I found a place that was comfortable, then I slowly increased pressure. it took me a very long time, but I got there in the end. th...
