Re: OSCAR missing data?
Now I installed sleep HQ and started upload from SD card but its stuck on th 27% mark for half an hour! How long does it usually take? Its just few days of data, is this normal or something went wrong? Hopefully you've restarted it by now, six hours later. I don't normally have upload problems, but...

Re: OSCAR Question About Pressure
See the gnomon at upper right? It says one is EPAP, one is Pressure. Helpful? Not so much!
Looks like you have EPR 2 turned on... that's all it is. On my Aircurve it just has one straight line all the way across, they don't even bother with EPAP.

Re: Airmini Review
I was curious about the HumidX discs so I googled... and read this: Designed to provide comfortable therapy while at home or while traveling. When you exhale, heat and moisture is captured and stored within the HME's tiny paper ridges. When you inhale, this heat and moisture is released to humidify ...

Re: Woke Up Gasping
I believe you're on the right road... the more you increase your pressures the less the differential will cause CA due to stripping CO2 if you keep the same differential. You appear to respond better to the bi-level algorithm than the EPR algorithm. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

Re: Woke Up Gasping
Meant to say PS=2. Should have read IPAP=11 EPAP=9. OK... that makes more sense. Still, bi-level gives better support than EPR IMO... when I was using EPR I'd feel my palate slap hard when supine during the breath transition to exhale. Even though I'm on more differential it's better because a) the...

Re: AirCurve 11s are in But
So the question is when did the air sense 11 come out and how similar is it to the AirCurve 11? It is my understanding that, just like the 10 series, the 11 series' distinction is the firmware only. Same exact computer hardware, motor, heater, plastic case... the only difference is what is flashed ...

Re: Kind of scared, split sleep study again after almost 20 years on PAP
My goal with this new sleep center honestly is to work on all the other “Not Sleep Apnea” sleep issues I still have, and while I’m at it, a script and order for a new machine [maybe an AirCurve 11, let me know if this is a bad idea, seams like I should just get a brand new Air Curve 10 as the 11 do...

Re: AirCurve 11s are in But
No, I'm coming from the S9. When the guy at Lincare said you can't trade down to an AirCurve 10 if you don't like the AirCurve 11. Well if the 11 doesn't work right, either it gets fixed or another 11 replaces it. S9 a great machine. Same motor as the AS10. As far as the heated tube, which I think ...

Re: Unable to fall asleep with CPAP
The problem is when I start falling asleep I always "jerk awake" again. Sometimes (about 50%) it's with actual hypnogogic jerks, leg or arm. The other times it's like my heart jumps up my throat followed by adrenaline. I do not get either when not using the machine. It's so bad that when it happens...

Re: UARS? Please take a look at these Sleepyhead screenshots
Hello, I'm actually diagnosed with sleep apnea, but I guess I have UARS. because my AHI is always below 5. even without a BIPAP device. I currently sleep with a BIPAP pressure of 17/12 mbar, and unfortunately I still don't sleep very well. I'm still tired during the day... does the airflow in Sleep...

Re: Woke Up Gasping
Thanks all, The old unit is the Aircurve 10s with last best settings of CM=11 PS=9. Good to know concerning rehabbing the old unit with a new motor. That's some insane pumping... I can't see any way to get that kind of response out of an APAP limited to EPR3. I have an Aircurve 10 vAuto but I only ...

does not hold 380ml How much? Earlier in the thread an enterprising user bought a graduated cylinder and measured the full capacity at 325ml... see the pics. I just noticed, looking at these pics, that there are two notches in the hinge line of the tub... this prevents the extra 55ml I'm sure... an...
