From which DME did you get it? Apria and Lincare doesn't have them yet. I haven't actually spoken to Lincare in about 2 weeks and my Doctor, after receiving the message from Apria that they cannot fill the order for the Air Curve 11 said they would send it to Lincare. Even though I reminded them again its not the Air Curve 10 or the Air Sense 11, I would not be the least bit shocked if they order one of those 2 again. However, Lincare, once it gets to the Delray location, they would know it's wrong,

bwexler, I've had the AirCurve 11 for over a week now. And I got it a day after I ordered it. So they're definately being stocked in the industry. It may just be that your supplier is not as quick as others.
I forgot to ask you, how do you like the Air Curve 11? Do you feel any difference from the 10?

I bought it from sleeplay, and not on insurance. I had the AirCurve10 that I had bought used, and wanted to get an updated machine that could send data to Resmed for my Doctor to review. I apparently have one of the few sleep doctors that actually look at the data from resmed.

There's not a lot of difference between the AirCurve 10 and the AirCurve 11. I matched the settings and noticed no difference. But I prefer the AC11 because of the connectivity and also because my wife has an AirSense 11, and it's easier to share parts.

I've seen a lot of people disparage the 11 over the 10, but my first machine was an AirSense 11, and so I guess I've gotten used to it, and prefer it over the 10.

You started with a CPAP and then went to the BiPAP or VPAP? What made you make that change? I think more often than not, unless you have a good sleep doctor, then those people just give up and either return the device or let it sit in the closet and Medicare just keeps paying for it. That's what I'd like to find as a backup, an air curve 10 that was hardly ever used because the person couldn't get used to it and it has been sitting in their closet.

Yeah you're lucky you have a good sleep doctor. My doctor is an ENT and he has no idea what's going at least not with respect to me. I don't know what he knows because I don't see him for this. The PA was the one that I spoke to and she stuck a tube up each nostril so they can bill for it and she had no idea that I had in BiPAP since 2003, not a CPAP even though I told her. It's really pathetic how useless the medical profession is when it comes to this. Is your sleep doctor a pulmonologist or what?
