Downloaded Oscar - Data not appearing - Help!

Post by DanceDiva26 » Wed Feb 28, 2024 2:46 pm

Hi there! I've been a CPAP user since 2016. I used Sleepyhead, read this forum daily, and with the forum's help....Sleepyhead and my CPAP therapy worked seamlessly and effectively. Thank you all! However, in 2020 when my husband passed away, I admit I slacked off on doing many necessary things. I DID CONTINUE using my CPAP religiously from 2020 to the present....HOWEVER...I neglected to put in my SD card. I would simply push my INFO button on my S9 or AS 10 for the nightly reading...And as in the past, was usually under 1.0. Great!

I am on Medicare, and for the first time, my Sleep Team is requiring an in-person visit w/ my useage history. Uh-oh. No card. So I recently tried downloading the latest Oscar. Read and followed all the stickies and threads. Said it was installed successfully...my old Profile Name and Machine showed up. I inserted the card (inserted SD card 3 days ago in my S9 and imported. Says import successful.

But when I click on View Daily or any other view...nothing shows up! I downloaded again (I read that one can do so w/out installing, and that it will get overwritten)...but..still nothing shows up! I have an appointment w/ Sleep Doctor in 3 weeks and would like to be able to show them my stats. And...*I would like to see them too!

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Let's start here...
With your profile open - top left of the Oscar window is "File" below that is "Profile" now look to the right of that row for "Statistics" - click on the "Statistics" tab.

Anything there? IF so you are in luck - print that. That is what your doc wants. How long have you used it each nite and your avg AHI, etc.

In order to get "Daily" Events the SD card must be inserted in the cpap before use. The cpap will store the other info in its memory but no daily info. Daily info is written to the card as it happens so the card must be inserted BEFORE use.

Thanks for responding!

My Statistics Tab is greyed out. <Sigh

I think I'd like to just delete/uninstall totally my latest OSCAR download. My old profile name from SleepyHead shows up. The best course seems to be just starting as if I am a totally new user? I don't need any of my old statistics from Sleepyhead. However, when I tried to UNinstall, a pop up said another integrated file was still open....but I can't find that file!

Does SH have the data you need? Anything you can use?

I'm thinking there is nothing on your SD card for some reason. Is it unlocked?

IF worse comes to worse maybe you can bring your cpap in for your Dr visit?
Call and ask them?
That is how it used to be done.
There is info displayed on the screen about how you have been using it.
