Resmed N30 nasal cushion

Post by Art24 » Sat Feb 03, 2024 9:39 am

Hi! New here and hoping to get help. I have been using cpap for about 3.5 years. I have only been using the Phillips dreamwear mask and it worked but always find myself frustrated with the heaviness on top of my head and all over my face. Not to mention the sounds coming from the mask ( I’m very sensitive to noise).
Have asked about other mask but was kinda brushed off. I really wanted something less noisy and less on face. The gave me the N30. I really like the way it feels. Was doing really good with it for about a month and then all of a sudden started hearing lots of sounds I feel that is coming from the cushion. I have Changed cushion and mask. Almost like a leak. Esp when the pressure goes up. My app says there are no leaks. I readjust still makes same sounds. Almost like crinkling sounds. I am wearing a size small as that is what they told me I needed I’m gonna ask for the small wide to try although my nose isn’t wide lol. I really want to this mask to work. I can’t do the nasal that goes into the nose. Anyone have same that’s happened to them or suggestions?

I have used this mask in the past. It's essentially silent....or should be when used correctly.
Sounds like the cushion itself might not be perfectly seated in the frame.
