I took mine apart prior to returning it. I can assure you the foam is in the air path where it sits under the motor.

I expect the mask vents at the nose, meaning your exhaled moisture won't make it to the HME. Note that Resmed does not make an Airmini HumidX version of this mask. There is an Airmini HumidX version of the P10 however.

The HME uses a standard hose connection. If the Bleep uses that style connection where it connects to the short hose, it might work. I'm not sure how the added weight/stiffness at this location would affect adhesion.

It's all about where the mask vents are located. If exhaled air exits far before reaching the HME, it won't work. I believe the AirMini system puts their HumidX before the vent. I cannot tell from the picture where the Bleep vents.

They provided a box, tape, and free return shipping FedEx label. If I had to pay for shipping, I would not have returned it. I returned it after taking it apart to inspect the foam and putting it back together. Used from 2011 until the recall, and no ozone; the foam looked pristine.

I've seen the green power light go out on the power brick at least twice. This didn't affect the machine, since I'm using battery backup. Cycling power to the brick restored it. I'm guessing the brick has some protective circuitry that shuts it down when a surge is detected.
