Hey Goofproof-
When did you start using Comfortjet Nasal Mask?...Did all my bragging on this one have anything to do with it? I started the polident on the lips before for about 2 months.(learned here on this site). It must have trained my me to keep my mouth closed because I very rarily have a dry mouth or appear to have had my mouth open during sleep.
Been off line since mid-Dec. (a little 3 month Fla Vacation) glad to be back. Will be reading all of you again..

I started using the ComfortGel mask after using the Comfort Full for a year.

I got it used in a deal on a used Remstar APAP, I knew I was a mouthbreather, but it was there, and you have to try. I had been practicing holding my tongue forward and to the roof of my mouth for almost a year.

I found according to the software that it worked as good as the FF Mask, and the leaks were better. Since then I've tried the Activa, and went back tothe Gel, for me the headgear stays in place better. I would guess that the better fit comes from the mask covering a small area, and it takes less strap pressure to hold it on. For a mask that's not a favorite for most, it's a keeper for me. Jim

Yep, I've got 4 masks in the drawer..tried them out (not from medicare but paid privately) Tried all the rest and will use the best FOR ME. Which is the Comfort jel. Some time ago someone posted I believe it was Wuffman on how to clean these really good. Like putting in hot water then on face to mold to your contours..I'm going to try to find that site.. I have a couple
comfort jels and this might make my old one return to service also..
