Re: Safety Concern on the Lowenstein Prisma 20a

Thank you! That makes a lot of sense and I do trust this company much more than Phillips. The fact that you can change it and that its much better quality than the Furniture Foam that Phillips put in their machine gives me a lot of ease. Ordering now! Although shipping isn't free to USA, how did you...

Safety Concern on the Lowenstein Prisma 20a

Hi I wanted to make a thread about this topic because I just have a bad feeling when anything foam is put inside or near a cpap machine. My plan is to get this Lowenstein machine because of the overwhelming positive reviews on it. The thing that is still holding me up is the foam filter. They say to...

Re: Lowenstein CPAP Machine

How does that inspiration of 1cm feel? Some people had said it bothered them. I think this is the main reason why I want to try this machine because it makes a lot of sense why they would do that. Please report back to me how it feels compared to the resmed EPR of 3? I need at least 3cm EPR I know t...

Re: Lowenstein CPAP Machine

Could you explain the softpap to me? I’m only used to EPR and I’ve tried it without EPR and I couldn’t breathe I need the exhale support. How is this machine different? You need more exhale support that’s why you need the vauto correct? I do fine with just 3 but I’ve heard this machine the support f...

Re: Lowenstein CPAP Machine

Anyone have a good idea on how to order replacement hosing/filter/humidifer tank for this machine? I can get the mask and stuff from my DME but obviously I’ll have to pay out of pocket for this stuff but what would be a good place to do that, Also anyone else have a bad feeling about the foam filter...

Re: Lowenstein CPAP Machine

I’m intrigued as well. I still want to do my research but I’m hoping the algorithm will help my dry mouth when I very seldomly open my mouth at night. I don’t have bad leaks at all anymore but it only takes one time. Apparently this machine lowers the air flow when that happens instead of ramping it...

Lowenstein CPAP Machine

Hi
I was wondering if anyone has experience with these machines because I do enjoy German Engineering and the Swiss Blower inside looks very high quality. Being based in the USA, is there any chance on getting my DME to cover the components needed to use this machine? IE, mask, hosing, etc? Thank you.

Re: effective block for spouse's snoring?

I’m glad you are trying to figure things out! The ENT will be able to diagnose anything going on with those areas and is much cheaper than getting a sleep study done! It’s a good first start I believe. But yes back is also the worst position for snoring I think. Good luck and I’m interested in how i...

Re: AirFit F40 Thoughts?

I tried it two nights so far for 40 minutes a piece, then put my P10 back on and fell asleep in 10 minutes. I've been spoiled by the comfort of this mask that unfortunately I don't think I can get used to a full face. I will admit though that all the reviews of people saying its comfort level is way...

Re: effective block for spouse's snoring?

Brown Noise (smoother than white noise). Foam earplugs. As for the sleep test, have her put an sp02 device on her wrist or something, and monitor her blood oxygen levels. That’s what I did before my sleep test. It’s very telling. I had my wife do it and hers was fine. I also insisted she go but I’ve...
