Re: Help me please, new user, new to message board

My husband had the same problem when he started 2.5 yrs ago. I insisted that he get a 2nd sleep study because I sleep with him every night and could hear he was still having "episodes". My husband started out at a 15 pressure & had to go up to a 19. He has a VERY severe case of OSA/CSA/Cheyne Stokes...

Re: Frustrated newbie.

Does your machine have the ability to "auto adjust"? I know some of them do.

Re: Frustrated newbie.

Hi plumbtuckerd... my hubby has his cpap set at 19 pressure. He has used a Respironics ComfortFull 2 mask for the last 2.5 years. It has worked great. For the most part it does not leak. Although I am looking into trying the ComfortGel mask for him now, cause it looks a little softer. I will tell yo...

Re: Opening mouth with mask on...is that OK?

My husband also sleeps with his mouth open. No problems. Some people are just "mouth breathers". I think that's why the full face type masks are better suited for those types of people.

ComfortGel vs ComfortFull Mask

Do both of these masks use the same "base" (ie size). Hubby has been using the ComfortFull (the CF2 also) and the gel model seems like it might be a little more soft against the skin. I was thinking that it looked like the only difference was the "cushion" part. anyone know anything about this pleas...

ComfortFull vs ComfortFull 2 Mask

Is there a difference between the ComfortFull and the ComfortFull 2 mask? I've looked at the model numbers and the last one I just ordered has an orange sticker on the bag that states "New and Improved". Well hubby DID notice a difference and did not sleep that well last night. Anyone know anything?...

Re: Clonazepam

My husband is the CPAPer and has used this drug even BEFORE he got on the CPAP machine. He can't sleep without it and his melatonin. The sleep dr is not crazy about it (says the drug could possibly repress breathing) but hubby insists on getting it from his reg dr. He's fine. I just got into the mac...

Nite 5 & 6 with Pur-Sleep

Still slept VERY well with Peace. I wake up feeling more relaxed and hubby (who is the Cpaper) likes it too! I have taken the advice of pinning one of the pads to my pillowcase (end) and put 2 drops on it just for me! I sleep SO deeply! I will be buying one of his trial packs for a friend of mine wh...

I'd like to trade my Spice for Peace as well. I have not used it. I just opened it to smell it and I like cloves, but don't think I would like to go to sleep with it.

Please send me a pm and we can arrange the switch.

Sweet dreams,
Lee

Nites 3 & 4 Nite 3: Used Clear and hubby & I did not sleep well at all that night. Maybe it was a coincidence? Nite 4: Last night we switched back to Peace and once I got to sleep I slept a deep sleep ALL night. Hubby (who is the Cpaper) said he slept wonderfully too! I am a little scared to try the...

Sleepguy, I think the $19.99 price point would be more appealing. I also like the idea of a money-back guarantee. That gives people confidence.

I also think that allowing people to pick the oils they want would be better.

Thanks,
