Steady beep and flashing of the lights

I have a Remstar Pro. It is 2 1/2 years old. This last week I have had this strange thing happening. For no apparent reason, the machine will start a quiet steady "beeping" and when I look at it, the lights (controls) are flashing. If I unplug it and plug it in again, it is fine. It has happened 3 times in about a week. It happens at various times of the day. Once it was in the morning and I thought my alarm was going off except that it is quieter than my alarm. Any one know what it could be ?

Card is full or defective? Try taking the card out...

Thanks! I'll take the card out. I know it works without the card so it won't matter.
