Re: Which full face mask to go with ASV machine?

I have found that the Fisher&Paykel Eson full face mask is excellent with my ASV, but I do not have a beard.

Oscar Data Download Problem

I switched from Sleepyhead to Oscar a few months ago with no problems. However, for the last 5 nights I have had data download problems. On the Daily chart I am getting no data and on the Overview charts I get data for AHI,Usage and Session Times only. I went back to sleepyhead and was able to downl...

Need help re battery backup/solar solution!

I have a Resmed aircurve 10 ASV and would like a compatible lithium ion battery backup that can be recharged via solar. The resmed backup battery is too expensive and they do not have a solar solution. My electrical competence is limited to turning a tv on and off and changing lightbulbs. Any help w...

Re: CPAP making very little difference in AHI. Taking big/hard exam soon and looking for advice.

I have central sleep apnea and winter at 5000 feet. I found Acetazolamide quickly reduced my ahi. But what helped the most was switching to an asv.

Re: OSCAR Suggestions & Bug reporting

In another thread I was asked for where to submit suggestions. You can feel free to PM me if you wish, either here or over on AB. But in this thread will work. Suggestions will be considered, but no guarantee that or when they will be implemented. Most of the suggestions we have seen so far will, I...

Re: Low AHI but still lightheaded dizzy sleepy fatigued

I just switched to an ASV after trying two other machines and am sleeping much better and dreaming for the first time in years. My AHI is 0 most nights. My sleep doc was reluctant to write the prescription but is now on board. I have no lung issues. Perhaps the problem is more with what the insuranc...

Re: What happened last night??

Looks like you're in ASV mode instead of ASVAuto with a fixed EPAP of 5. Since the machine can't raise EPAP, it can't help your obstructive apneas. Try switching to ASVAuto mode, Min EPAP 5, Max EPAP 15. I think you are right. Previously, I had very few obstructives, a few hypopnias and almost 100%...

What happened last night??

I started treatment 11 months ago and switched to an ASV from an Aircurve 10 Vauto in mid July 2019. My AHI with an ASV immediately dropped from 7 to close to zero. However, several nights ago I had a bizarre cluster that lasted about 40 minutes and resulted in an AHI of 5.1 for the night I have att...
