Question about the SD card to download onto Sleepyheaddata

Post by kyela » Sun May 27, 2018 7:09 pm

I have downloaded the Sleepyhead data onto my pc, question is about the SD card, where does that go? I have usp ports but nothing like a slot that a SD card would fit into?

Any help is appreciated.

K~

Most newer computers (especially laptops) have a small SD card slot. Look carefully at your computer. If there definitely is none you can buy a card reader at Walmart or Best Buy...they plug into the USB ports.

I had to switch computers and looked on both sides and even the back. I thought this one didn't have one but then I found it underneath the front sloped edge. :?

Well darn, my pc is custom made but it was made without a sd card slot, all i have is the usb ports and a cd/dvd drive

I guess i will be making a trip to best buy.

Another question i have is my min is set at 9cmh2o but ive noticed that even at that setting i feel like im gasping it was worse when i had been using my ramp for the first few days of my therapy but now its been a week and ive not used my ramp setting and just started on my therapy value which starts at 9 do you think if i up the pressure to 10 would work better for me?

Thankyou,
k~

If you shut off the ramp you made a good move, a USB to Card Reader is what you need costs range from $5 to the sky. Wal Mart or many places have them , I use New Egg . com for most my supplies.

Try the next size nasal pillow and see how the air moves with it before trying more pressure.
9 cm is comfortable for most people but sometimes people need a slightly large nasal pillow that has just a bit more volume for air movement just to feel like they are moving enough air.

If you have a WalMart closer than Best Buy...WalMart also has those card reader/adapters for the SD card and USB port use.

Glad that helped.
I had to move up a size in the P10 myself and I always used XSmall in the other brands.
That little bit extra volume helps with the air movement in general.
I think that the P10 runs a wee bit small when compared to some of the other nasal pillow brands.

Just a heads up here. I bought 2 different super cheap SD card readers from Ebay
and they both wore out after about 50 to 100 uses. At first I thought the SD card
had died then recalled I had another unused computer with a SD slot and the card
works fine in it.

Try reformatting the card. That is usually a good idea anyway on a new card.

You missed my point. Some card readers can ware out and when this happens the computer
may not even detect a card. When I placed the card in another computer I was then able to
read the data.

i thought you were referring to a cheap SD card wearing out when it may just need to be reformatted.

Sorry for misreading your post.
