Right now, I just read ebooks or listen to audiobooks. Due to some desperately needed remodeling, I've had to pack up my knitting and quilting.

I think mine is pretty obvious :D
Is it, getting banned from diabetes forums for telling the truth?

Actually I thought your hobby was being helpful to people on the Internet. But if you do other stuff, ya gotta post pictures or it don't count.
Awww. It's such a doggone pain in the rear to post photos here! Last time I did I still had a photobucket account.

And yes, as far as getting banned from forums, I have a few more under my belt now.

It's easier now to post photos here. No account needed.

And don't let the ban-sters get you down; I've learned a lot from you over the years.

Indeed. Just do attachments.

See below for some of what I do outdoors. My garden. I have 3 kinds of tomatoes and one of the types is already got pea size tomatoes on it. Pretty good since it was the last week in April before I got anything planted because it had been so cold here.
Already got one pepper too. Potato plants are kicking ass and taking names. Some even volunteered from last year because I guess I missed a few little bitty potatoes when I harvested.

I am also working on the flower gardens but I am late with those also. Maybe this weekend I will get all the pots done with all the annuals I do. Somewhere around 40 pots between mine and my mom's.

You plant your tomatoes in hay bales? We plant ours in raised beds and then need to surround in netting to keep the squirrels out.

Straw bales instead of hay bales. Less seeds to sprout and get in the way...and cheaper.
At the end of the year the decomposing straw bales go over into the raised bed where you see the potatoes and other veggies inside the boards. I have several years of the best rotting straw dirt over in that raised bed.
Very little weeding is ever needed and digging the potatoes just means reaching down into the straw and plucking out the potatoes.
Used to do half potatoes and half onions but I have never been happy with the size of my onions so this year I tried a mixture of other stuff to see what might want to do better. So I have some squash, okra, peppers, radishes and even some broccolli.

I have been lucky in that the squirrels have never bothered anything in my garden. Now the oppossums and coons a different story but they mainly wanted my watermelons and cantelope and always would eat them the night before I planned to harvest them. They knew when they were ripe just like I did. The possums and coons haven't ever bothered anything else.

Doing the straw bales and the raised bed keeps my bending over to a minimum which I have to do because of my back.
I have a little stool that I can sit on for when I need to do stuff like tie up the tomato plants and pull the grass that has sprouted ...which is going to need to be done in the first stage in just a few days on some of the Early Girls.
Last year I had tomato plants higher than my panels so this year we tied 2 panels together so I could go up instead of sideways.
I had some tomato plants over 6 ft tall last year.

Where we live the ground is 90 % rocks and 10% dirt. Just too much work to till up a regular in the ground garden. Not to mention the weeding and bending over crap. I have been doing straw bales 7 years now I guess it is.
So much easier and less work and things grow like crazy.

I coach competitive swimming and don't get paid for it as I enjoy it so much.

I play classical piano

Golf (a true hacker)

Listening to music with good equipment, especially in ear monitors. I am a member of Headfi so I may have read some of Ruinednose's reviews. Just purchased my latest and best set of iems which are providing awesome sound as I write

To celebrate my 75th birthday I bought a Yamaha piano and started taking lessons. Found a great teacher who will go with the flow. My piano can sound like lots of musical instruments, records, accompanies me and can even let me play "guitar" with my left hand and "trombone" with my right, or whatever I chose. Lots of fun and at the same time difficult. I think it keeps my brain working. It also entertains me and I sing along. Not long ago I played Amazing Grace on the bagpipes. Couldn't tell if I made mistakes! I never played piano or any other kind of music before now.

I like to cook, read, and do art work. Had to quit gardening, hiking, camping and other outdoor stuff due to being crippled for the last 15 years.

PS I bought one like this with the pedal unit.
https://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-DGX-660-G ... oard&psc=1
It has weighted keys so it feels like a regular piano. It never needs to be tuned. I can use head phones if I like so no one has to listen to me practice. I can play one part of a duet and record it to play while I play the other part. It takes a lot of concentration to look at lines and dots and make all my fingers do something independently of each other while I count, sing, and sometimes use the pedal. It can be portable if necessary, but the stand makes it very stable. It felt like a big accomplishment to finish the first few instruction books. I have been learning to play for 2 years this month.

And I didn't even know you could catch fish using bagpipes!

For the record, though, I've never looked that good playing any instrument, and I've never caught a fish that nice!

I like this idea a lot.
I have been thinking about doing the same,
I played piano when I was a kid. Mom made us take lessons.
Although I always complained about it.....I did really enjoy it.

What model did you get?

Some very interesting hobbies and activities hereabouts!

Everything from coaching swimming to baking prize cookies. And, that fish by Emmet is major league.

As a retired scientist, I prefer to be more active now, and spend a little less time w the books.

I ski in the winter and then spring through fall, I'm hiking, biking, running, and avoiding yard work at all costs.

Also, I do my share of volunteer work, which would be "work" work if I did not enjoy it so much.

Spare time? I'm building an airplane in my garage, a 3-year project that is now about 10 years (so far).

Considering sky diving for my seventieth, but that's approaching pretty fast, and right now, that priority is barely above yard work.

I know what I'd buy if I were buying today, because I'm a cheapskate when it comes to keys.
