Is Amazon.com a good place for CPAP equipment?

Post by TexasLongHorns » Sat May 19, 2018 5:19 pm

I notice sellers there are selling brand name for a lot less than everyone else. Is this because everyone gets refills every month and is making money selling there extra equipment online?

Who knows but if you want a legit place to get refurbished (very well) equipment go to Secondwindcpap.com - great to deal with!

Which question are you wanting an answer to?

1) yes
2) probably not.

These sellers don't have brick and mortar stores and lots of payroll and overhead expenses...most operate from warehouses. Amazon has primarily companies and small business sellers...not individuals.

I found my answer. I found out that ResMed doesn't allow any of it's dealers to sell on Amazon. It is all MAP Priced online. There isn't one authorized dealer currently on Amazon according to ResMed. I will stay away.

I will happily save money. I couldn't care less whether it's an 'authorized dealer' or not.

If purchasing new you likely need to buy from an authorized dealer to have any ResMed warranty.

I've even seen them on Craigslist, new machines still under warranty sold for really cheap and they aren't authorized dealers... It can be done..

I buy a lot of mask parts (not legal for them to sell a whole mask) there. I've also bought machine filters for MUCH less than other brick and mortar store sells them for. Sometimes the prices are real good and I save a lot. Other times I save only a few cents or dollars.

Gig 'em, Aggies.

You haven't indicated what you are looking for...machine? Mask?

If using FLEX dollars, you might have to buy from some kind of dealer.
Through official channels--not off the back of a truck.

Amazon had been a great place for me to buy CPAP equipment.
