...Funny how cpap.com never listed the XL pillows that Aeiomed told me were ready for sale before the Hurricane Katrina. ... Aura XL Pillows are available? That was sneaky how you slipped that big news in there, lol. Aeiomed told me last May they were working on an XL interface, and the product man...

Kenv, thanks for posting to the group about this device and your results with it. I need and appreciate all the information people bring to this board. This new device may indeed be helpful to some, and I'm glad it has helped you. Notice, in the USA it requires a prescription to get one, so a person...

Snoozie, in the nasal interface tubes of the Aura, the two tubes that go around your nose, there are 2 wires. They intend for you to bend these wires to adjust the fit to your face/nares. So don't be afraid to do this because it's new. This was difficult for me to do without causing the tubes to kin...

I totally agree with loonlvr. I monitor all my data closely, but primarily make adjustments to lower AHI. I have run experiments trying to find a pressure where I can keep AHI to a minimum while lowering my SI, but without success. So, other than curiosity, I ignore the snore line. On the other hand...

...2) Yes, you do need a special prescription for an auto machine from your doctor... I did not need a special prescription to buy my auto. My doctor simply prescribed a cpap at 9cm but said i was free to purchase whatever type and brand of machine i wanted. She did recommend the Resmed Auto as hav...

wow, your initial sleep study numbers are better than my numbers on cpap. Some nights my AHI is as good as 4.0, but typically i range up to 10. Before CPAP my AHI was 45.

I'm an upper too. I secure the main hose to my headboard using a length of stretchable elastic bandage. Fortunately my headboard has a series of locations to tie up to. For me it's more about hose control and keeping it up out of the way. I also find by using the velcro loop that came with the swift...

Auto PAP Low Pressure Setting
Lately there have been a lot of questions about the low pressure setting of the pressure range on auto pap machines. I thought I would pass along the advice given to me from my sleep technicians at my health care provider. This will only be helpful for those with the software to view the data your m...
