Sleep Apnea and ADHD? Considering Medication?

Post by Kabuto » Tue Apr 24, 2018 4:31 pm

Hi all. Have often sometimes had low attention span. Heard there might be a connection to sleep apnea. I'm curious everyone's thoughts on this. Thanks a lot!!!

Not sure how a blocked airway or not breathing during sleep has to do with a low attention span ..

An article came up in Google about a misdiagnosis in kids with sleep apnea being told they have ADHD.

if someone is tired, it's hard to pay attention, yes and could seem like ADHD but if you're treated adequately, that isn't a factor.
