I flicked off the filter for the exhalation port on my eson 2 can't seem to find it, any harm in sleeping with the filter off except a bit noisy until I can get another one?

It's not a *filter* (though it's probably made of filter material... it's a *diffuser*, the entire point of which is to tame that hard jet of air that's coming out, and maybe blowing on you, bedding, a bed partner.
If it wasn't optional, then they wouldn't have made it so it could be removed.

What palerider said. I like the diffuser because it quietens the exhaust and reduces draft, but it doesn't affect health or efficacy of treatment if absent. I've seen the diffusers sold online as a multi-pack if you need them.
