Re: Freedom battery qeastion
I don't have any off your equipment but I didn't think there was a fan in either the battery or the 12/24 volt converter normally used. Are you using a 120 volt inverter to power the regular power supply?fordjx4000 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 4:20 amThere is a fan sound coming from the converter is this normal

Ah! That converter does indeed have a fan, unlike the ResMed converter that is fanless. It might only run if the humidifier is used, but this would probably limit runtime to only a few hours. Unfortunately the fan uses power, and also implies heat is generated - both will reduce the battery runtime. If you're planning to use this for a full night, definitely do a trial run at home first to see if the battery lasts. If the fan sound is too annoying, try the ResMed converter which is silent.fordjx4000 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 4:38 amI'm using this https://www.cpap.com/productpage/c-100- ... erter.html

Here is the link for the Resmed converter for the S9. You may need to adapt the 10 volt lighter plug end to fit the Freedom battery.

I have the one for the S10 and it is silent.
