Re: My wife says I'm weird because I like using the CPAP
I'm especially fond of being completely buried for long periods of time under deep multi-layered thick, warm covers and never having to create a breathing hole or coming out for a breath of cooler, room-temp air. Its always the same comfy temp 'neath the security of the mask!

Re: NEW ResMed AirFit F30i full face mask....some reviews here
Still abhor the method I'm forced to resort to use to order this in a size that fits perfectly, ie; whole kit then a backup 'SW' cushion. Granted the VA pays and always sends 2 of everything so I'm never out-of-pocket a dime but still feel (naïveté or neurosis) I should be able to order specifically...

Re: Question for people interested in the Bleep DreamPort no headgear cpap mask
Ms Pugs I'm sorry to inflict myself on your post but seeking answers to how the VA might be handling the adhesive replacements. Personally haven't tried or asked them yet but don't wanna set myself up and possibly love something only to later find out its more expensive or complicated than my curren...

Re: Does anyone else have a BAD gag reflex
Mine's alway been good, great actually! Able to regularly identify by little more than a quick sniff/whif of made-from-scratch pork green chili verde that's been in the fridge a day or two too long, bad organic yogurt by nothing more than it's 3-week old expiration date and a quick accompanying snor...

While I can't answer your questions OR better your observation I can offer that mayhaps you can apply your av quote to this/them and simultaneously the rest of us. It is after all accurate, apt, timely and best I've seen in a blue moon!

hehe not only remember Fred & Wilma post Viet Nam and pre kids but actually colored thousands of acetate cells of them and the town of Bedrock for Hanna Barbera productions in Van Nuys. Pure part-time college min wage sweat shop in those days for the artistically inept that could mostly color within...

1st night "0" leakage w/ F30
But first Happy Thanksgiving 2018 to everyone and their families! After nigh on a month I've hacked a solution to my F30 leak situation. I discovered early on that I could seal my F30 mask 100% if I held it by hand or wedged it against a pillow or one of my dog's small stuffed animals. Last night I ...

Re: Dating with CPAP
And here I was thinking I'd discovered some wonderful side benefit of CPAP by hunkering completely submerged under piles of warm, comfy covers almost a foot deep on a chilly night from initial doze-off to final wakeup without ever surfacing, even once!. Guess I'm the one that's late to this dance. S...

Given I'm on the latest/greatest Mac and OS count me among the most appreciative & supportive of any/all energies related to this. I appreciate the effort likely more than even the author/designer can know!

Sorry but those two pieces aren't even close as I wondered the very same thing and checked/compared the two closely.

Re: PVP surgery and F30
Yesterday I promised a first full night's review of the new ResMed F30 today. Due to events of last night I ended up being forced to self 'de-cath' near 9:30pm. And while the VA sent me home with lots of supplies for anticipated events there was no sterile liquid I could use for irrigating the cath ...

Yes Pugsy I'd like that! Give me a week or so to get back to some semblance of normalcy and I'll send ya a PM invite for when works or is most convenient. Re: New F30 - Had them in-hand for a little under two hours now. No sleep yet but I have worn & tested at higher-than any pressure I've personall...

Re: PVP surgery and F30
Yes'm Pugsy bad luck started spring of 1966 with my being drafted. Quick 24 weeks training then straight to Viet Nam. I was on my 3rd tour (30th month) there (Laos & Cambodia actually) I was a grunt (LRRP) in the 173rd Airborne doing long range recon patrol with a 12 man ranger team monitoring troop...

PVP surgery and F30
Had the surgical procedure done early on the 18th. Uneventful procedure and general anesthesia was completely uneventful which as a COPD'r is a huge success for me. However the plan of my going home within a few hours proved elusive as it has a dozen times for various surgeries I've endured since my...

Re: ResMed new FFM the F30 available for pre order at cpap.com
I was able to order two of them at $135 a-pop +/free shipping from their original 'early-release' email notice on Oct 15th but the originally advertised ship-date of Oct 16 has come & gone with no follow-up email of shipment or tracking info. And given I'm booked for surgery at the VA tomorrow I'm h...
