Dealing with really bad days, after bad nights

Post by Chalkie » Tue Apr 17, 2018 11:02 am

Today is not good. Mask slipped off my face maybe half the night. Feel really stressed out and tired today. Lots of adrenaline going on I suspect. Getting frustrated that my day is screwed up and anxiety about a repeat tonight/tomorrow when I have to travel to work.

Just wondered how others coped with what author Matt Haig calls "one for the bank of bad days". They feel so all-enveloping.
Machine: Philips Respironics BiPAP C Series.
Mask: Respironics Comfort Gel Nasal Mask.

Pressure 12-18.

I try not to dwell on it and tell myself that everyone has bad days. That’s all it is, one bad day, it does not have to bleed into the next. I am sorry you had a bad day.

I find that now since I have been getting restorative sleep most nights, if I have one of the screwed up bad one, the next day effect is much less than in the past when I never got a good nights sleep.
