Dreamwear Gel Pillows

Post by djont57 » Mon Apr 16, 2018 4:34 pm

First allow me to introduce myself. My wife has told me for years that I am a heavy snorer & would sometimes stop breathing in my sleep. Even though was father was a CPAP user for 15 years before he passed, I was reluctant to get a sleep study. Finally in February I had a study; my AHI was 39. They called me immediately to get an APAP fitting. I received a Resmed Airsense 10 with a full face mask. Even though I told them I suffer from claustrophobia & didn't think I could tolerate a full face. After a week I went back & asked for a different mask, they gave me a smaller size full face & said try this. That's when I found this forum & educated myself. I ordered a nasal mask from ebay, that was much better. Then bought a Dreamwear nasal cushion mask, even better. Then I heard about the Dreamwear Gel pillow; I think I found the mask for me. :D

Just want to say thanks to all the helpful people here.

Thank you. I had not heard about the gel pillow. I’ll check it out.

I also use the Dreamwear gel pillows. I love them and they dont leak unless I twist my head instead of lifting and turning. Great comfortable mask. I just wish the headgear had one extra strap. It always seems to slide up on the back of my head

I just tie the bottom strap to my soft foam neck collar with a short shoe lace. Works well, no more sliding mask straps.
